St. Claude Collective review from the Times Picayune

Doug MacCash wrote a review of the Universal Furniture show, certainly a formidable task.
“Don’t miss…David Sullivan’s sinister psychedelic amoebae video, displayed in a tunnel of trash bags – shouldn’t there be Grateful Dead music in the background?”
Just to clear the air, I had meant to have Grateful Dead playing in the background for the piece at Universal, but, after smoking a massive bong, i accidentally recorded over the tape.
read the review here. Also, if you watch the video, you’ll see some of my piece, as well as a good selection of others. A consolation for those that would like to see the show, but can’t.

Sunset Refinery Installation

Sunset Refinery will be up for a month and a half at Universal Furniture in NOLA for those that haven’t seen it yet. Here are some photos from the installation. The installation recycles the large plastic bag intestine I made with Courtney Egan, Shawn Hall, And Robert Vicknair.

David @ Drawathon

I wrote a sound and motion reactive painting machine for the third annual Drawathon, here in NOLA at the Green Project. Here are some test images, although the projection with all the folks moving around and the live band made for much more interesting images.
