2 animations at the CAC in August

Dan Cameron has put together a show of New Orleans artists, called “Hot Up Here” opening during White Linen Night (August 1) at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans. He has included 2 of my animations (“Sunset Refinery” and “Swamp Gas”) which will be projected facing each other, creating an immersive environment in which each adds to the other. I’m don’t know all of the artists that Dan has included, but I’m certain it will be an interesting show.

Sunset Refinery at Ars Electronica 2009

My piece “Sunset Refinery” will be part of the 2009 Prix Ars Electronica Animation Festival , in the category “Motion Patterns” . The festival is September 3 through 8 in Linz, Austria. I’ve never been to the show, but they always have great animation and interactive works on display. If you have the opportunity, check out the show.
