“Sunset refinery” and “Swamp Gas” (both currently showing at the CAC in New Orleans) were accepted into the Alexandria Museum of Arts 22nd September Competition. The Juror for the show is Nicholas Bustamante. The show opens August 28 and goes to Nov 25.
i have 2 pieces in a group show at Wagner Sousa in Galveston Texas that opens on Aug 20 and runs into Sept. Shawn Hall also has some beautiful paintings in the show.
I have been selected for a studio in the woods residency this coming year. i will be working on some animations dealing with the river and its changing environment. the studio in the woods is a wonderful natural setting located close to New Orleans. My residency will be for about a month and a half starting in November and i am looking forward to it.
